WSS Associates are Exclusively appointed by NHS Property Services to identify their Head of Digital Enablement, accountable for delivering technology-based solutions to meet business outcomes in the support of the NHSPS vision and strategy. The role is a leading component of transforming from a project-based technology function to a customer-centric, product-focused, Agile and value-driven high-performing team.

The Digital & Data Team at NHSPS help colleagues across the business with all their IT and technology needs. Acting as a consultative partner and service provider in enhancing business operations, improving business productivity, and raising business performance. The Head of Digital Enablement is primarily responsible for the Product Management and Software Engineering teams, driving the function and product roadmaps of the NHSPS products and platforms. You will provide direction, leadership, and coaching to the Digital Enablement team, driving continuous improvement and ensuring they operate effectively to deliver their collective goals.

NHSPS seek a confident and a natural leader, able to define clear cultural values and instil within a team. Drive and prioritise goals and objectives based on the strategic direction and vision of the organisation/function/team. A strategic, change and people manager, you are experienced in leading product, engineering and delivery teams, with a deep understanding of product delivery, lifecycle and strategy, including the creation, definition and delivery of roadmaps, backlogs and planning. Knowledge of methodologies including Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe) is essential.

As a critical member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you are co-responsible for defining, articulating, and executing the Digital strategy. Delivering the organisational strategy and goals, communicating vision, strategy and setting the cultural tone of NHSPS by role-modelling and embedding values and behaviours.
